Yes, there are individuals who have dreamt and journeyed in reaching their destiny and they have created a new impact in the world. So Tarbes Community College creates, accompanies individuals to make this journey of life - by "including the excluded and giving its best to the least". Tarbes Community College has completed 15 years of its service to the society.
Being thankful to God for journeying with us, here I am placing before you the journey of T.C.C for the year 2017-2018.
The classroom teaching is always focused on the students' personal development,-giving them self-confidence and forming them as persons of integrity and future leaders. Today's society needs honest and hardworking person who strive to build an India of our dreams- where there is equality, justice, harmony and peace. To assist us in these ventures, we have a team of committed and dedicated staff. The 'guest speakers' with her/ his own area of expertise empower the students to be the builders of tomorrow.
I now invite the present students to give us a brief report of visiting faculty.
The visiting faculty broadens the vision of our students and gives them a new outlook, new ideas, challenges them to find new paths, to travel on their journey. The interactions with parents help to improve the relationship between the college, parents and students. The parents co-operate with the management and the college to groom their wards and accompany them in their life's journey.
The training programme is mandatory in the college curriculum. Hence for 2017-2018 the students will venture into their training on 9th April 2019-8 to Sichrem, Bishops house and to other small IT Companies and Organizations.
Most of the former students are doing quite well in their jobs, drawing decent salaries in middle and lower level capacities in IT firms and small private companies. They also pursue their higher studies by enrolling themselves into evening classes.
We believe that this year too, our young students with their potentials have journeyed through the year and have prepared to enter the employment scene and into adult life. The world today holds out many challenges and opportunities. We believe that our students will be able to take them in their stride and move forward to journey towards their goals with confidence and hope. This evening they are here to give you a glimpse of their achievement and capabilities. Join us in thanking the Lord, for what they are today and requesting you to bless and pray for them as they walk into the journey of life. My heartfelt gratitude to all of you for being part of the Tarbes Community college to achieve its 'motto' - to include the excluded and give best to the least.
Its my privilege to remember and thank my Provincial and team / sisters of Shanthi Nilaya community and all my dear sisters for you have accompanied us through our journey. We are always thankful for your continuous support
Coming back to you my dear young ladies and reminding you of the theme of the day - "Be thankful for the journey"
To reach your destiny you have to make the journey. But, are you willing to go beyond?
Remember, there is one unseen hand holding your hand to make this life' journey with you. So, hold on to that unseen Hand of God and plunge into your future, you will be always safe, where ever you go. God bless.
