Achievements

"The unique achievement of Community College Movement is the empowerment of the socially, economically and educationally disadvantaged groups, leading to employment and resulting in the alleviation of poverty."

Tarbes Community College has helped fourteen batches of young women so far. The fourteenth batch graduates this year of 2017. Our training in concert with professional consultant support services, is integral to the success of most our students to reach their personal, educational and professional goals. Almost ninety percent of these young women have secured jobs, their salaries may not be very high, but what is important, is that they have made an entry into the job market and they will continue to go higher. Some have already doubled the family salary and have their say in family decisions. Over a hundred families have been lit up financially and socially because of these young women. These young girls now enjoy self-confidence, self-determination and some measure of self-achievement. They have become "Miracles of Hope", leading, the way and inspiring others to persevere in their efforts.

A few success stories that show how the paradigm shift in education is helping to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor, in a vast country like India.
