Apart from regular classes, we have training sessions by Guest Speakers who share their skills and experiences. A Special session on the Seven Habits of highly effective people by Steven Covey is introduced additionally as part of Life Coping Skills. Ms. Tina Reddy, a Professional Management Consultant is helping our students identify values, marketable skills and career interests through this workshop and project assessment material.

Internship Programs

Tarbes Community College has over the years developed and nurtured partnership with industry and private companies. Students are given a hands-on experience for two months in a company or in a school. We are committed to partnering with businesses and institutions to enable the students through career development internships, to enhance their learning experience while offering valuable assistance to the workforce.

Employers are welcome to give a 1-hour employer Information Session at our college premises. It is a good opportunity to provide an overview of your organization, outline hiring practices and feature current recruitment opportunities.


Advisory Committee of Industry

By becoming a Program Advisory Committee member, you'll work with the faculty on program and curriculum development. With your real-world insights integrated into the curriculum, students study content that is timely, relevant, engaging and reflective of industry trends. With your help and guidance, we can remain a leader in job-ready education and our students are trained as industry leaders both in the classroom and in the field.

Counseling
The College has also arranged counseling facilities. A counselor is available to students experiencing extreme difficulty in their academic work due to personal crisis or circumstances, which are causing anxiety and stress. Through professional and confidential counseling help is available to make decisions, deal with stress, anxiety and personal matters for those students who are in need of guidance

Parent Student Teacher Meet
The Management conducts at least two meetings with the parent to acquaint them with their ward's performance and dialogue with them, for a better participation in her future career.

Free Breakfast Snack
Students get free morning snack since many of them come without breakfast to the class. This will ensure students start the day in the right way. It will encourage them to continue the good habit of eating a balanced breakfast. A subsidized canteen is also available on the premises.

Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are available for outstation students and free board and lodge is offered to the very poor students.

Valedictory
At the end of the course, the students are given a Diploma at a Valedictory Function held in their honor. The term comes to an end with a performance by the students where parents join their wards to celebrate the completion of the course. Special prizes are given out to meritorious students.
